Lawn Pests & Grub Control
We also offer an additional treatment for lawn pests and grub control, including leatherjackets and chafer grubs. These insects damage your lawn by feeding on grass roots.

Another way to check is to soak a patch of lawn and cover it with a material that blocks out light. The following day, the insects should be visible on the grass surface.
We treat lawn pests using nematodes. These are a highly effective natural control solution and use no harmful chemicals, meaning they are completely safe around children, pets and wildlife. After treatment, all we ask is that you keep your lawn well hydrated, as this will make the nematodes as effective as possible.
Your grub control treatment can be pre-arranged to work alongside your regular treatment plan, and your regular grass cutting, meaning we will ensure your lawn is pest-free for no extra hassle.
Scarification
Scarifying your lawn is particularly beneficial if there is a lot of moss, weeds or thatch present. Moss often develops in larger amounts over winter, so we usually provide our scarification service just before the grass-cutting season in February or March, helping to kick-start the treatment process. Another good time for scarifying is after hot weather, as this can increase the amount of thatch in your lawn.
Lawn scarification will remove unwanted weeds, moss and thatch. After these have been removed, we will re-seed the lawn and after a few weeks of careful attention it will be completely transformed.
